Return & Exchange Policy

At Sedara, we want you to love every piece you receive. If something doesn’t meet your expectations, we’re here to make it right, within the guidelines below.

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns if the item you received is damaged, defective, or incorrect in style or size. All returns must meet the following conditions: the item must be unworn, unwashed, in original condition, and include all original tags. Items returned in a used or altered state will not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

Returns cannot be accepted if the abaya has been worn or washed, if the original tags have been removed, or if the return is due to a change of mind, unless an exception has been approved. Custom-made or altered items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange due to hygiene reasons.

Return Timeframe

You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to request a return. If your return request is approved, the item must be shipped back to us within the following 14 days. Items sent without approval or outside the return window will not be accepted.

How to Request a Return

To begin the return process, please email or message us on Instagram. Include your full name, order number, a short description of the issue, and clear photos if the item is damaged or incorrect. Once we approve your request, we will send you the return address and detailed instructions for shipping the item back.

Shipping Responsibility

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the issue was caused by an error on our part. We do not cover return postage for size exchanges or change-of-mind requests. We recommend using a tracked service, as Sedara is not responsible for lost or delayed return parcels.

Refunds and Exchanges

After receiving and inspecting the returned item, you may choose either a replacement item or store credit for future purchases. Refunds to the original payment method are granted only in exceptional cases and may not include original shipping fees.

Additional Guidance

To avoid sizing issues, we encourage you to refer to our official size chart before placing your order. Please note that minor color variations caused by screen differences or lighting do not qualify as defects.

Your Rights

This policy is designed in accordance with Australian consumer rights and protections. If your item is proven to be faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement under Australian Consumer Law.
